Easy to Operate
One convenient joystick �automatically �moves all boom sections and slewing in tandem while keeping the end hose level during boom operation. Simply select a height for the end hose, and the system maintains these distance parameters throughout the job. The operator concentrates on controlling the end hose with a �single joystick �compared to using multiple joysticks for each boom and rotate function. A smooth, uninterrupted concrete flow and more efficient pour results from one simple operation.

Automatically Unfolds
Move the left-hand joy- stick forwards or back- wards while in EBC mode to �automatically �unfold and refold boom sections both safely and quickly.

Simple to Set Upper/Lower Heights
Simply position the boom at the lowest or highest position desired. Then, store it on the input momentary-contact switch. The boom will be prevented from moving outside the prescribed limit ...making it an ideal feature when using under low height structures or when maintaining a minimum end hose length.

Smooth Controls, Smooth Output
Use the right hand �fully proportional � joystick to move the boom smoothly and efficiently when concreting. The end hose follows at a constant height even with increased concrete weight in the delivery line. It minimizes end hose height fluctuations at the start of pumping and offers less spattering. EBC also compensates for any vibrations which may occur, thereby minimizing boom bounce.

Both OneTouch � and Conventional Operation Possible
Changing from EBC to conventional operation is both a simple and straight forward process to accommodate either operator preference or job site conditions.

Highly Responsive Radio Remotes
Automatic frequency change virtually eliminates outside disturbances. Plus, our new emergency safety stop is less prone to external interference and interruption. The active emergency stop signal is transmitted with a shorter reaction time of 100 milliseconds. Operating in a no-registration frequency band reduces the danger of use when cell phones and other frequency devices are around. Plus, the operator does not need to adjust the frequency himself.

Built-in Safety
Various safety mechanisms are incorporated into EBC. For instance, if a conflict occurs between boom sections or a preset limit is exceeded, all boom operations will automatically stop. Plus, it prevents the possibility of a �collision �between boom sections.

Minimal Boom Bounce
Special resolvers measure boom angles to equalize and prevent any swinging of the end hose, which can occur when repositioning the boom sections or pumping at high outputs. The hoseman can safely guide the end hose for smooth, steady concrete placement.

Proven MBC Valves
EBC uses the same proven reliable MBC (Modular Boom Control) valves and plumbing as in the past. The specialized OneTouch TM software was simply added to work in conjunction with hydraulic, electronic and sensor systems.
